Search Volume (1) — keyword’s monthly search volume.

Competition (2)  level of competition on the keyword in paid search.

CPC (3) keyword’s cost-per-click.

Keyword Difficulty (4)  a major keyword metric designed to help you figure out what it takes to get to the top spots in SERP for the desired keyword, namely to the positions 1 through 10. The KD is measured on a scale from 0 to 100%, where:

0-20 - low KD;

21- 40 - medium KD;

41-60 - hard KD;

61-100 - super hard

To calculate the KD score, we look at top 10 pages for a given keyword. The things taken into account are:

External Backlinks

Serpstat Page Rank

Serpstat Trust Rank

Number of domains that have the targeted keyword in page title

Number of URLs that have the keyword in the title.

Organic Keyword (5)  some examples of keywords associated with the researched query. The full report on organic keywords is available in the Keyword Selection section.

Ads Keywords (6)  some examples of paid keywords associated with the researched query. The full report on paid keywords is available in the PPC Research section.

 

Keyword Trends — a chart that shows the keyword popularity over the year. Serpstat gives it as a percentage of the maximum search volume seen throughout the year.

Keyword Difficulty table that presents Top 10 search results for a given keyword, URLs' backlink metrics, number of main pages in SERP and number of domains/pages with the target keyword in title.

Competitors in Organic Search domains that are ranking in top 100 search results for a large number of search queries associated with the researched keyword.


Competitors Graph  a chart which displays direct competitors on the keyword. For details on the competitor’s chart, please read the article.


 

Competitors in Ads domains that have a large number of paid keywords associated with the researched query.
